Nathan is tough guy to pin down.
Since leaving the military in 2011 (after twenty years of service) he has served as a college director, an independent defense consultant, as well as accepted short-term humanitarian challenges in Nepal, Ecuador, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. He also consults and mentors in leadership, risk management, and emergency planning. He holds a Master’s Degree from the Royal Military College of Canada, but also owns a wood-splitter. Equally at ease in a suit or work boots, he is passionate about his family, harbors a love of wide-open spaces, and learning any new skill that lead to self-sufficiency. As the son of a preacher, his convictions have deep roots. He has understood for some time that ‘success’ is not solely defined by your position, title, or paycheque.
