Amber Topp is a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces, as well as a military spouse of almost twenty years. She currently resides in Ontario with her husband and children. She is a graduate of the Loyalist College, Protection, Security, and Investigations program, in Belleville, ON, and studied at St Thomas University in Fredericton, NB. She has a long-standing history of working with women and children, has spent time volunteering at an orphanage in Guatemala, and has also led focus groups and workshops for girls, focusing on Intersecting sites of violence, self-esteem, and positive self-image. Amber has a lifelong passion for writing and has been writing poetry for over twenty-five years.
