Burbank California-based Marc Phillip Yablonka is the author of four books on the Vietnam War. He also filed as a military journalist for Vietnam magazine; Military Heritage; Soldier of Fortune; American Veteran; the US Military’s Stars and Stripes; and Army Times. From 2001 to 2008, Marc served as a Public Affairs Officer with the rank Chief Warrant Officer-2 in the California State Guard. He covered mobilizations and demobilizations to and from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo for the National Guard and US Army Reserves. His articles and photos appeared in Soldiers, the official magazine of the US Army; Grizzly, publication of the California National Guard; The Blade, magazine of the 63rd Regional Readiness Command, US Army Reserves; and Hawaii Army Weekly, newspaper of the 25th Infantry Division.
