Michael A. Dorosh, CD is a graduate of the University of Calgary, holding a bachelor of arts degree in history and communications. He joined the Canadian Forces as a reservist in 1987 and has served continuously with The Calgary Highlanders since then. His first book on Canadian military uniforms was published in 1995. In 1998 he started the canadiansoldiers.com website as a resource for researchers of the Canadian Army in the 20th Century.
