Necole Belanger is a retired Command Chief Warrant Officer of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), who joined at the tail end of the LGBTQ Purge, which saw more than 9000 members of the RCMP, CAF, and Federal Public Service employees have their lives and careers destroyed because of a government-sanctioned practice to label them as threats to national security. CCWO (Ret’d) Belanger managed to hide in plain sight and completed 35 years of service to her country.
She is a graduate of the Law and Security Administration program from Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology in Belleville, ON. She has a Bachelor of Military Arts and Science degree from the Royal Military College, Kingston, ON, and is a graduate of the non-commissioned member (NCM) executive professional development program, the executive leadership program, the Canadian security studies program, and the complete leadership program series from the CWO Robert Profession of Arms Institute. She has published leadership articles for the Canadian Military Journal and the Royal Canadian Air Force Journal and is the single most published NCM author in the CAF.
She currently resides in Kelowna, BC with her wife of 29 years, where they run a licensed AirBnB together when not visiting with their two precious granddaughters and daughters.
